Chris Harris Jr. Demands Trade or New Contract

Will John Elway and the Broncos finally pay Chris Harris what he is worth? After acquiring Texans corner and safety hybrid Kareem Jackson, and the Chicago Bears Bryce Callahan the Denver secondary seemed to be in great shape heading into the 2019 football season. That changed the moment one of the best slot corners in the league asked for a trade if he didn’t get paid. The Broncos have the 10th overall pick in the draft, and are now openly fielding offers from other teams, possibly the Indianapolis Colts, Carolina Panthers, or San Francisco 49ers as Draft Day trade partners for the Pro Bowl CB. Harris is 29, and will be 30 in June and is coming off a somewhat significant injury. That is the reason some may argue he should not be paid. The Kansas City Chiefs traded their 1st round pick for the Seattle Seahawks Frank Clark and 49ers kicker Robbie Gould is demanding a trade, all suggesting anything could happen before or during the Draft.
