The
Indianapolis Colts are one of the more historic teams in the league.
Indianapolis was set up in 1953 as the Baltimore Colts and transferred
to Indianapolis in 1983. While in Baltimore the team took home four NFL
Titles and since moving to Indianapolis the team captured Super Bowl XLI

players selected by the Indianapolis Colts. The best players selected by
the Indianapolis Colts are Marvin Harrison, Raymond Berry and Peyton
Manning.
No. 3: Marvin Harrison, WR, (1996 - 2008)
Marvin Harrison played his complete tenure with indianapolis, having been taken in 1996 with the 19th option of the first round. The player is recognized as one of the finest receivers of the football and a highly talented wide receiver. He broke the single-season catch record in 2002 with 143, and is one of four men to grab over 1,000 career catches. He finished up with over 1,000 yards in 8 sequential years and he and qB Peyton Manning became one of if not the top deadly WR-QB combos. During his tenure he was selected to eight Pro Bowls and was a six-time first team All-Pro selection. He amassed 14,580 yards receiving, with 1,102 grabs and 128 touchdowns.
No. 2: Raymond Berry, WR, (1956 - 1967)
Berry was chosen in the 1956 draft in the 20th round and is what you would call a sleeper of the draft as he turned out to be an incredible asset for Indianapolis and a consistent option for qB Johnny Unitas. Berry captured 2 titles with Indianapolis, becoming a regular starter in his second year. In his career, he led the NFL in catches on three occasions. He worked with Unitas on a repeated basis, and preparation and toughness were traits for which he was noted. Berry went to six Pro Bowls and retired in 1967 with a then-career catch record of 631. The Hall of Famer will be known for the Title game of 1958, grabbing 12 passes for 178 yards and a TD.

Peyton Manning was taken first overall by Indianapolis in the 1998 draft, and Indianapolis took their organization QB of the future with that pick. The former Tennessee star is the boy of former NFL QB Archie Manning and brother of fellow current NFL QB Eli Manning. Peyton Manning holds many records for the Indianapolis organization. These records include career passing yards, passing TDs, pass attempts, career victories and pass completions. This great star is the holder of four MVP Awards and 4,000-plus passing yards in sequential years. Peyton Manning's passer rating is listed in the top 4 all-time of any NFL QB, and he made the second-most successive starts in the NFL. He beat the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI, taking home the first Super Bowl to the town of Indianapolis.
