Tim Tebow Trade Bingo Has Begun

Despite the disaster with Tony Sparano and Rex Ryan's inability to force his will on the crumbling Jets franchise Tim Tebow is still on the trading block. Everyone who has ever played with the two time NCAA champion knows he is nothing but heart and spirit on a football field. This however is what the Fantasy Football driven NFL community calls an "Intangible". An immeasurable talent that makes any given game a crap shoot is not popular in a statistics driven world of sports betting and fantasy football. These are billion dollar industries and million dollar careers on the line.

Tim Tebow sits on the far right as an open and devote christian that plays with heart. He overcomes his measurable limitations with leadership, guts and grit. In many ways he is like the quarterbacks of the old school. He is a sober Joe Namath, a straight laced Bret Farve, a politically correct Terry Bradshaw, etc. Tebow's biggest drawback is he makes selfish players nervous, analysts crazy and immature broadcasters grumble with his honesty and devote "Tebowing". Offensive Coordinators just do not know how to game plan a "Jump Pass" or draw up a "Quarterback to Full Back" dive.

What kind of team should trade for a Tebow? Any team looking to cash in on the "Pistol Offense" that funny enough was pioneered by the Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow himself. Under performing offenses like the San Diego Chargers or Dallas Cowboys could use a shot of Tebow's humble pie. With a solid back up QB biting at the franchise starter's ankles and no gimmick crap these two teams could use a cold bucket of water like Tebow. Scandal prone franchises like Philly, New Orleans and Pittsburgh could use a shot of Vanilla Leadership. The Dog Fighters, Bounty Scandals and Big Ben's faced with a legitimate challenge from Tim could give them a shot of maturity. Ultimately though the franchise that could get the most out of Tim would be the Patriots.

Well how about a New Orleans Jersey?

With Tom Brady sitting a the peak of his talent at 37 the franchise has to look to the future. A trade for Tebow would put him back under the Coordinator that drafted him into the league in Denver. Josh had a long term plan for Tebow similar to the Bellichek-Brady dynasty. The Partiots franchise is a Quarterback factory sending more Brady disciples into the league as solid performers than any other modern NFL team. It is time to bring to New England a possible successor to Brady. Who buy the way was a 6th round pick that barely made the team his rookie year. Get Tebow cheap, let him learn from the best quarterback coach ever, compete against the best QB in history and give him a shot at Flutie's legacy.

PS, the same thing could be said for the Saints and LOL Broncos.
